Hiking Ajuy Wild Coast & Las Peñitas Fuerteventura
Walk the ancient shepherds’ paths of Fuerteventura and immerse yourself in myths and legends from bygone eras. The guided hiking tour will first take you to the unique canyon La Presa de Las Peñitas, a verdant Oasis. Admire the little palm grove and walk to the tiny basalt rock chapel of the patron saint, “La Virgen de la Peña” and make wish, because it is the local custom. Then you head direction Ajuy the picturesque fishing village on the island’s west coast. It is one of the oldest parts of Fuerteventura. From here you will head to the impressive 35 m high rock gate, a barely known rock formation described in legends as the gateway to a kingdom or distant galaxy. Your hiking tour along the wild coast to rediscover the Legends of Fuerteventura finally ends in Ajuy.

The tour professionally guided by Ingrid has given us exactly what we have promised us from a private hike conducted in a small circle.
Interesting stories, great landscapes and at the end a really good meal which put the crown on the day. It was already our second tour that we did with Authentic Tours. In November we will be back on the island,
