Me and a friend took the “La Pared” Segway tour today and we were more than thrilled.
For me and most of our group of seven, it was the first time riding a Segway. Everything was explained thoroughly and simply, you get used to driving very quickly.
Even after that there were occasional stops where we were given background information about the area by the very nice tour guide Mario. The tour guide made this experience one that you definitely should not miss on Fuerteventura.

The guide was bang on time, very friendly, I think he was Marius? from Germany. We collected 2 other couples then drove short distance to salt museum. My hubby and I had been on street segway before and one of the other couples had too, so we were given our Segway to play with round the carpark while the other couple were learning. Our tour took us along the seafront back toward caleta, then retraced back along dunes and the sand before more rocky route, up and downhill was a challenge! We loved it. At 57, we were the youngest couple but by the end of the tour even the older couples were more confident. The whole tour lasted nearly 3 hours, and that was about right, as it can get your ankles aching. Thoroughly recommend this activity!
